What is Beetrut


The name bekrut comes from two words: beet, which is an extract of sugar beets and malt, which is a grain that comes from barley. These two extracts are combined to form beer malt extract, also known as BME. In Jamaica, beer malt extract isn’t just used in ice cream; it’s also mixed with honey to create a drink called beetrut. Popular among many people across Jamaica, bekrut has gained worldwide popularity over recent years as Jamaicans have emigrated to other countries and introduced their favorite drinks and foods to their new homes.

Recommended Mangoes for Making Juice

Mangoes are an essential ingredient in beetrut juice. If you want to make it, you need mangoes. Mangoes come in many varieties, so there are many different types of flavors and textures.
