 CHIZZA

Eating KFC's new 'Chizza' pizza: An excursion into lament

We ate KFC's new singed chicken-base pizza so you don't need to.

Called the Chizza, this unholy love offspring of singed chicken and pizza replaces the pizza batter with a major, seared chicken filet. It's at that point finished off with pizza sauce - which the case gladly announces comes from Californian tomatoes - pineapple, mozzarella, "chicken ham" and cheddar sauce.

In the wake of showing up in Japan a year ago, the Chizza has gone to my home of Singapore. To observe, I chose to attempt it for lunch.

As the promotion picture may show, the Chizza isn't the most charming sight. You likely will not be ready for the smell that floats your direction, a mix of old oil and weak zest. However, how was it to eat?

Each chomp of the Chizza showed me lament does for sure have a taste.

The sauce is extraordinarily sweet and has that handled pureed tomatoes taste. Throwing a small bunch of excessively sweet pineapple pieces on top doesn't help. At that point there's the "chicken ham", which obviously is a misnomer since chicken can't be made into genuine ham. Maybe, this production of frantic science is smoothed chicken secret meat that is changed to look and suggest a flavor like ham cuts.
